On the morning of August 13, 2022, the launching ceremony of the China-Europe freight train "Jiangsu" Wuxi-Lianyungang-Uzbekistan freight train was launched.

This successive train is carrying polyester chips produced by Wuxi Sanfangxiang Enterprise, drill pipes produced by Opulo Drilling Tools (Wuxi) Company and various goods produced by other local enterprises, with a total of 100 TEUs and a load of more than 1,000 tons, worth 30 million RMB. After arriving at Lianyungang (Xugou North) station, the train will be sent to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for about 20 days.

Wuxi is an important node city on the integrated development axis of the Belt and Road, the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Yangtze River Delta. With the launch of the China-Europe freight train "Jiangsu" Wuxi-Lianyungang-Uzbekistan freight train, nearly 50 local companies in Wuxi have signed up, looking forward to going overseas.Editor/Ma Xue
