Recently, Waaree, India's largest PV module manufacturer, signed a 2.5GW high-efficiency PV module automated production line project with Jinchen. After the signing of the 2.5GW project, Jinchen will provide Waaree with a total of 10GW of high-efficiency photovoltaic module automated production line equipment.

Waaree is India's largest PV module manufacturer and one of Jinchen's most important partners in India. It is reported that the cooperation between the two parties began in 2017. In 2021, the two parties signed a 3GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module automated production line project contract, which was the largest photovoltaic module production line project signed by a Chinese photovoltaic module equipment manufacturer and a local investor in overseas markets at that time. At present, Jinchen Co., Ltd. has successfully delivered a production line with a capacity of 6GW, and the remaining 4GW will be delivered in 2022.

India has set a target of 280GW of photovoltaic installed capacity by 2030. At the same time, India plans to allocate 240 billion rupees in the 2021-2022 fiscal year to promote the rapid development of India's domestic photovoltaic industry and local manufacturing capacity.
