On August 16, 2022, in Hechi City, Guangxi, a track-laying machine laid a section of 500-meter-long steel rail on the ballastless bed of the Longjiang Double-Line Bridge of the Guinan High-speed Railway, marking the official entry of the Guinan High-speed Railway into the track laying stage.
The Guinan high-speed railway runs through the northwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the southeast of Guizhou Province, with a total length of 482 kilometers, 964 kilometers of track laying construction on the main line, a total of 193 bridges and 108 tunnels, of which 564 kilometers of track laying construction in the Guangxi section.
According to the construction organization arrangement, the track laying of the Guangxi section of the Guinan high-speed railway will be carried out in the order from south to north. First, the laying task between Hechi and Nanning will be completed, and then the equipment will be adjusted to the north to complete the laying task between Hechi and Huanjiang. The track laying of the Guangxi section of the Guinan high-speed railway is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
Guinan high-speed railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network including sea passages. It is also the first high-speed railway in Guangxi with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. At present, more than 5 hours have been shortened to about 2 hours, which is of great significance to promoting the deep integration of transportation, logistics, commerce and industry in Guizhou and Guizhou provinces.Editor/Ma Xue
