On August 19, 2022, Energy China Gezhouba Group and other units signed an investment intention agreement for the Yingkou Reservoir and Anyuan Pumped Storage Power Station project with the People's Government of Anyuan County, Jiangxi Province.

Anyuan Yingkou Reservoir is located in Caifang Township, Anyuan County, with a total storage capacity of 119 million cubic meters. It is a large-scale reservoir. The project has been included in the National 14th Five-Year Plan for Water Security and the 14th Five-Year Plan for Infrastructure Construction in Old Revolutionary Areas. Key dispatch projects.

After the project is completed, it can improve Anyuan County, industrial parks, urban and rural life, agricultural production and water supply conditions, improve urban and rural life, industrial and agricultural irrigation water supply security, optimize regional water resources allocation, promote the innovative development of industrial parks, and realize agricultural modernization in irrigation areas. It is of great significance for consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation, boosting the revitalization of old revolutionary base areas and rural areas, ensuring national food security, and improving the ecological environment of the Dongjiang River Basin.

The planned installed capacity of Anyuan Pumped Storage Power Station is 1.4 million kilowatts. After the project is completed, it will undertake tasks such as peak regulation, valley filling, energy storage, frequency regulation, phase regulation, and backup of the Jiangxi Province power system, which can effectively cooperate with new energy power sources and districts in Jiangxi Province.
