The World Green Economy Summit in Dubai in September will focus on developing investment partnerships and promoting green project financing, as governments around the world step up efforts to reduce emissions to protect the environment. The two-day summit, taking place on September 28-29, will also highlight the UAE's efforts to increase green investment as the country prepares to host the Cop28 conference in 2023.

The UAE has committed $400 million to help developing countries transition to clean energy, which will positively impact 100 million African citizens by 2035. It has pledged to raise $4 billion to invest in technologies that transform agriculture and food production to limit climate change.
