On August 22, 2022, China's first ultra-quiet intelligent drilling rig, the Uganda 1500HP low-emission automatic silent drilling rig, independently developed by DEC subsidiary Dongfang Honghua, was officially shipped from the Guanghan production base in Deyang City, Sichuan Province. The drilling rig will depart from Qingdao Port, along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, and arrive at the Uganda National Forest Park in Africa for service.

The Uganda Forest Park in Africa is rich in oil resources. How to carry out green and efficient oil extraction on the premise of protecting the virgin forest and wild animals in the National Forest Park is a problem that the Ugandan government and the developer Total has attached great importance to.

To this end, entrusted by the undertaker Sinopec Group Corporation, Dongfang Honghua actively carried out technological innovation and successfully developed China's first ultra-quiet intelligent drilling rig.

Ultra-quiet + zero emission

The decibel of the ultra-quiet drilling rig developed by Dongfang Honghua is not greater than 55, which minimizes the impact of oil exploitation on the ecological environment and wild animals.

At the same time, the entire drilling rig also adopts camouflage painting and dimmable and discolored lamps to reduce the impact of physical and biological environmental factors on the animal habitat around the well site.

The drilling rig is equipped with a drilling waste recovery and treatment system, which can realize the complete recovery of all equipment mud and oil pollution in the whole well site, and realize zero discharge of waste and waste liquid in the drilling process.

Internationally leading speed

The speed comes from the degree of automation of the machine. Dongfang Honghua has innovatively developed a "one-key linkage" lift pipe system. At present, the tripping efficiency has set a new record of 30 columns per hour, which is at the leading level both domestically and internationally.

At the same time, the integrated zone management system (ZMS) solves the safety problem of many automated equipment on the drilling rig working together, ensuring no influence, no interference, and no collision.
