Recently, the Iraqi Missan Oilfield Project Department received the bid winning notice from the owner, CNOOC Iraq Co., Ltd., and CNNC 23 successfully won the bid for the EPC general contracting project of the first phase of the pipeline project.

The first phase of the pipeline project is another key construction project of CNOOC Iraq Co., Ltd. in the Missan Oilfield. The main scope of work is construction of pipelines for new drilling wells, replacement and upgrading of pipelines for old wells, expansion of wellhead manifolds, demolition and re-installation of wellhead surface facilities, installation and commissioning of single-well electrical instrumentation communication systems, and design, procurement and construction of related auxiliary systems. The completion of the project will greatly improve the current crude oil extraction and pipeline transportation capabilities of Iraq's Missan Oilfield, and will effectively push the development and production of the Missan Oilfield to a new level.

CNNC 23 has been working in Iraq for nearly ten years, and has successively undertaken the expansion project of the self-provided power station in the Missan Oilfield, the main hydropower facility project, the BUT reconstruction and new CPF project, the natural gas processing plant project, the single-well pipeline project, and the Halfaya wellhead project.
