More importantly, in the field of international service trade, it has played an active role in spreading new thinking, connecting supply and demand, sharing more trade opportunities, and promoting common development. As one of the earliest countries to join the Belt and Road Initiative, what achievements has the UAE achieved in participating in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in the past two years? How to further strengthen cooperation in the future?

Ali Zahiri: The UAE has always been an advocate and supporter of the Belt and Road Initiative, and has long been committed to actively participating in various international activities under the Belt and Road Initiative. Under the Belt and Road Initiative, we will help drive global trade growth by strengthening infrastructure in transport and logistics.

Up to now, the UAE has 16 modern airports located in the central area of the Belt and Road. The UAE is committed to developing itself into a global financial and investment center, providing services and cooperating with countries and regions related to the Belt and Road Initiative, and providing strong support for local large-scale corporate institutions and projects. Under the Belt and Road Initiative, the UAE has also become an indispensable investor in China. Currently, there are more than 650 projects in China that the UAE has invested in, most of which are concentrated in the energy, banking and maritime industries.
