Recently, a reporter from Jiandao.com learned from the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources that the Chengdu-Deyang line project of the urban (suburban) railway has passed the pre-examination of land use, which marks another important step for the S11 line of the Chengde urban railway.

According to the "Letter of the General Office of the Ministry of Natural Resources on the Preliminary Review Opinions on the Construction Land of the Urban (Suburban) Railway Chengdu-Deyang Line Project": The urban (suburban) railway Chengdu-Deyang line project has been included in the National Development and Reform Commission's 2022 Central Increase Construction List of major national projects with land use security. After review, the land for this project is in compliance with the regulations, and it is agreed in principle to pass the pre-examination of land use.

The letter stated that the land for the project should be controlled within 112.61 hectares (1689 mu), including 93.34 hectares (1400 mu) of agricultural land, 61.40 hectares (921 mu) of arable land, and 23.32 hectares (350 mu) of permanent basic farmland.

Chengde Municipal Railway S11 Line

It is reported that the investment of the project is 28.7 billion yuan. The proposed locations are Jinniu District, Xindu District, Pengzhou City, Deyang City, and Guanghan City. The designed train has a maximum running speed of 160 km/h and has a total of 15 stations, including 10 underground stations and 5 elevated stations.

The underground stations are mainly located in the urban built-up areas of Chengdu and Deyang. There are 6 underground stations in Chengdu, namely Weijianian Station, Fengtai 3rd Road Station, Friendship War, Dujianian Station, International Trade City Station and Banzhuyuan Station; 4 underground stations in Deyang City, which are Sichuan Jianan Station. Courtyard Station, Wuzhou Square Station, Confucian Temple Square Station, Deyang North Station. Elevated stations are mainly located on non-construction land or areas to be developed between Chengdu and Deyang urban areas.

The S11 line of Chengde Municipal Railway starts from Weijianian Station in the south and passes through Jinniu District of Chengdu City, Xindu District of Chengdu City, Mengyang Town of Pengzhou City, Sanxingdui Town of Guanghan City, Tianfu Jingcheng of Deyang City, and the downtown area of Deyang City. Beixing Avenue, Chengde Avenue, Tianfu Avenue north extension line (under construction), and Taishan Road are laid. The main line ends at Deyang North Station, and the branch line ends at Trade City Station. Along the way, connect the Phoenix Mountain Group, the International Trade City Group, the Banzhu Garden Group, the Xinjunma Rural Leisure Group, the Sichuan National Agricultural Products and Traditional Chinese Medicine Trade Center (Mengyang), the Guanghan Sanxingdui Cultural Park Group, the Tianfu Jingcheng and Deyang South Stations in Deyang City , Deyang city center, Deyang North Station and other major passenger flow distribution points.
