September 1, 2022, Stockholm. Continental has acquired Vulk & Montage, a conveyor and maintenance company headquartered in Karlstad, Sweden. With this acquisition, the technology company Continental has further improved its product portfolio and established a business structure in the heart of Sweden's industrial zone. "With the acquisition of the Vulk & Montage Group, we are able to offer our industrial customers in central Sweden a complete range of services and solutions beyond our existing product portfolio. This acquisition once again underlines our aim to be closer to our customers and to continuously expand our service capabilities and adjust our focus accordingly,” said Qi Song, Global President of Continental’s Conveying Solutions Business Group. The acquisition is subject to approval by antitrust authorities. Both parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price to the public.

Vulk & Montage has four offices in Karlstad, Sweden (headquarters), Örebro, Mura and Stockholm. The company is a premium service provider for the conveying industry in central Sweden with four branches and a rubber workshop. Vulk & Montage offers additional products such as conveyor belts, belt cleaners, industrial hoses, screens, abrasion resistant rubber, lightweight conveyor belts, process plastics, as well as liners (cold-bond and hot-bond), spray polyurethane, sandblasting and Additional services such as painting.
