It is reported that the project is located in the southwest of Xiangcheng County. It is a cogeneration project controlled by Pingmei Shenma Holding Group. It covers an area of 412 acres and has a total investment of 3.27 billion yuan. The heating capacity is 1330t/h, the annual power generation is 2.63 billion kWh, and the annual heat supply is 4.32 million tons. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2025. The fifth project management company of the Construction Engineering Group undertakes the construction of the production scheduling building, the night shift rest building, the living service building, the guard duty room, and the front area of the factory.

After the project is completed, it will provide strong support for the development of new silicon carbon materials, photovoltaic new energy and other industries. The standard coal consumption for power supply will be as low as 257 g/kWh, and the emission parameters will reach the ultra-low emission standard, achieving zero discharge of wastewater. Through the construction of a long-distance high-temperature and high-pressure hot water heating pipe network from Xiangcheng County to the central urban area of Xuchang, it will continue to ensure the heat supply for residents in the central urban area, and at the same time realize centralized heating for residents in Xiangcheng County.
