On September 27, 2022, the bid-winning candidates for the construction of the Guangdong section of the new Ruijin-Meizhou railway project were announced on the Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Platform. The Guangdong section of the Ruimei Railway will enter the formal construction stage in October, with a planned construction period of 4.5 years.

Project Overview

The construction site of this project is located in Pingyuan County, Meijiang District and Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province.

Construction scale: The Guangdong section of the Ruimei Railway is located in Meizhou City, Guangdong Province. It crosses the Jiangxi-Guangdong Province boundary, passes through Bachi Town and Zhonghang Town in Pingyuan County to the east of Dazhe Town, Pingyuan County, and sets up Pingyuan Station. After that, the line continues. To the southeast, pass Rezhe, Changtian, Shifan, reserve Lingquansi Freight Station and then cross the Changshen Expressway, pass the lower reaches of the Huangkeng Reservoir and the Longmeilong Planned Railway and cross the Meijiang River, and then connect to the existing Zhang The Pankeng Line of the Long Railway will reuse the existing Zhanglong Line to Meizhou Station. The main line is 75.061km long.

The supporting projects include the electrification of the incoming signal machine from the Pankeng Line of the Zhanglong Railway to Meizhou Station, with a main line of 3.893km; tract and related pharyngeal approaches.

Main technical standards: Railway grade: Class I; Number of main lines: single line; Design speed: 160 km/h.

Planned construction period: The total construction period of the project is 4.5 years, the planned start date is September 30, 2022, and the planned completion date is March 30, 2027.

Tender division

This construction is planned to be divided into 5 tender sections, among which the construction tender section in front of the station: RMSG-1 tender, RMSG-2 tender, RMSG-3 tender; four electric tender sections: RMSG-4 tender; station house tender: RMSG-5 tender mark.

Difficulties in tendering projects

RMSG-1 standard: Pingyuan station roadbed project, the maximum excavation slope height is 37m;

RMSG-2 standard: Bazhuang Tunnel, with a total length of 10686m, the longest tunnel on the whole line;

RMSG-3 standard: Meijiang super bridge, the main span adopts (88+160+88)m continuous rigid frame, spans Meijiang and the existing Zhanglong railway, Ruimei railway and planned Longmeilong railway use three lines on the bridge Co-build piers and abutments; span the G25 Changshen Expressway Bridge;
