Large-scale wind power photovoltaic construction accelerates

New energy power generation is the general trend, but it has volatility and disorder. On September 26, the Qinghai Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Proposal on Building a World-leading Photovoltaic Power Generation Base in Qinghai" - Letter of Reply to Proposal No. 20180064 of the 1st Session of the 12th Provincial Political Consultative Conference. According to the "Notice on the List of the First Batch of Large-scale Wind Power and Photovoltaic Base Construction Projects Focusing on Deserts, Gobi and Desert Areas" issued by the National Development and Reform Commission. The energy storage market ushered in an explosive period

With the rapid development of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaics, more grid-connected needs have also been generated. The meeting requested that it is necessary to further promote the completion of large-scale wind power photovoltaic bases and the grid connection. The first batch of base projects should complete all project approvals (records) as soon as possible, submit grid connection applications as soon as possible, speed up the construction of the main project, complete the promised grid connection goal in 2022 on schedule, and speed up supporting facilities. The construction of energy storage and peak shaving facilities ensures that they are completed and put into operation simultaneously; the second batch of base projects will complete the selection of owners as soon as possible and start construction as soon as possible.

In fact, for a long time, the problem of grid connection has restricted the development of wind power photovoltaic. In the future, the biggest problem in realizing the goal of a large-scale wind and solar base is delivery and consumption, and it also requires supporting energy storage and peak regulation.

Among them, the bidding price range of energy storage system procurement is 1.23 yuan/Wh-2.67 yuan/Wh, and the bidding price range of energy storage project general contracting is 1.66 yuan/Wh-3.55 yuan/Wh, China Energy Construction, 30 companies including POWERCHINA and SPIC participated in winning the bid.

Central SOEs have taken the lead in deploying energy storage. As more regions release policies on distributed photovoltaic distribution and storage, the development of the energy storage industry is more certain, and related companies are expected to benefit from it.

According to the forecast of Everbright Securities, by 2025, the scale of China's energy storage market will reach 0.45 trillion yuan, and will grow to about 1.3 trillion yuan in 2030.

In Qi Haishen's view, how to match energy storage projects with large-scale wind and solar bases involves power generation costs and investment benefits, and these issues need to be considered comprehensively.
