On September 15, 2022, the Hami Lijiang Energy Co., Ltd. "West-East Gas Pipeline" Yandun Compressor Station Gas Compressor Waste Heat Power Generation Project participated in the construction of the Xinjiang Branch of the installation company successfully completed a trial run, and the unit's indicators were running well and successfully Grid-connected power generation.

This project is a comprehensive energy utilization project encouraged by the state. It uses the waste heat of the exhaust gas of the compressor station as a clean energy to realize the secondary utilization of the waste heat of the exhaust gas. The project is located on the north side of the Yandun compressor station of the West-East Gas Pipeline in Hami City, with a total installed capacity of 20MW, an annual power generation capacity of 160 million kWh, and an annual supply of 144 million kW of electricity.
