Recently, the railway Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport station hub and connection project Haining tide observation station (including) with the preliminary design of the southern section of the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission approved. According to the introduction, Hangzhou Airport high-speed railway is the east wing channel of Hangzhou's new round of railway hub "one axis and two wings" layout, and it is also an important project to connect the core areas of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui, create an efficient commuting corridor, realize the high-speed railway into Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, construct the air-rail combined transportation system, and build the "Yangtze River Delta on track". The preliminary design has been approved, laying a solid foundation for the full construction of the project.

Hangzhou Airport high-speed rail

The length of Hangzhou Airport high-speed railway is about 85 kilometers, and the length of Haining tide Observation station (including the southern section) is about 70 kilometers, including 55 kilometers of bridge section and 13 kilometers of tunnel section. Through Haining City, Qiantang District, Hangzhou Qiantang District and Shaoxing Keqiao District, Haining tide observation station, Qiantang Station and Xiaoshan Airport Station will be newly built and connected to Shaoxing North Station.

Earlier, construction of the first section of the high-speed railway at Hangzhou Airport started on Jan 5, 2022. The bullet train is only about 85 kilometers long, but it connects three cities. From HANGZHOU Xiaoshan AIRPORT, YOU CAN REACH Haining and Tongxiang under Jiaxing City to the north, the central city of Hangzhou can be reached by connecting line to the west, and Shaoxing to the south.

Residents along the route take the plane to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. In the past, they take the airport bus or drive themselves, so the travel time is difficult to control.
