In order to accelerate the achievement of carbon emission reduction targets, the Development and Reform Commission of Yuxi City in Yunnan Province recently issued a reply to the proposal No. 0093 of the first session of the Sixth Committee of Yuxi City of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Jiandao.com has learned. In the reply letter, the construction of new energy projects in Yuxi City was publicized. Six photovoltaic projects under construction in Yuanjiangtangfang, Yuanjiang Kobanbi, Yuanjiang Ganba, Yuanjiang Pulichong, Xinping Public Farming and Xinping Shuanghe Village (installed capacity of 333,000 kW, planned investment of 2.206 billion yuan) have been steadily advanced, and the fixed asset investment of 1.239 billion yuan has been completed from January to August.

Construction of new projects was accelerated. Focusing on the provincial "14th Five-Year Plan" to increase the installed power generation capacity of 73 million kW, and the province's new installed photovoltaic power generation capacity of more than 50 million kW in the next three years, the distribution and stock of photovoltaic resources in the city were investigated, and the development situation of new energy projects in Yuxi during the "14th Five-Year Plan" was sorted out. In 2022, 20 new photovoltaic projects (with a total installed capacity of 2.1689 million kW and a planned total investment of 10.022 billion yuan) were started, accounting for 6.9% of the total installed capacity of the province. At present, four projects have started construction, and the remaining 16 projects will be fully started before September 30 and released in October. It is planned that eight projects (with an installed capacity of 913,000 kW) will be connected to the grid by the end of December 2022, and all the remaining eight projects will be connected to the grid at full capacity by 2023. The city's newly installed power generation capacity is 2.519 million kilowatts, and it is estimated that the new power generation capacity is 3 billion KWH. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
