Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of CRRC Haixi New Energy Equipment Manufacturing Zero Carbon Industrial Park was held in Delingha, Haixi city, Qinghai province, marking the official opening of the Qaidam Basin new energy equipment manufacturing zero carbon Industrial Park.

According to the introduction, the core industries of wind power, photovoltaic, energy storage and other core industries are arranged in the CRRC Haixi new energy equipment manufacturing zero-carbon industrial park. The zero-carbon industrial park uses clean energy for production and manufacturing. The industrial park is divided into three phases of construction, including complete machine, blade, tower cylinder, generator, electrical equipment, photovoltaic module, energy storage equipment and other industries. The total investment is about 3 billion yuan, covering a total area of 570 mu. After completion of production, the annual output value of 6 billion yuan.

Located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Qinghai Province is rich in hydropower resources, unique in solar energy resources and ranks among the top in the country in wind resources. It is an important energy replacement base in China because of its rich desertification land resources that can be used for photovoltaic and wind power construction. Haixi, located in the Qaidam Basin, has an annual average of more than 3,000 hours of sunlight, making it one of the regions with the most abundant solar energy resources in China. Editor/He Yuting
