The project belongs to the industry highway. The tenderers are Zigong Municipal People's Government, Neijiang Municipal People's Government and Luzhou Municipal People's Government. Project overview

The Zigong Yongchuan Expressway in Sichuan starts near Xianshi Town, Yantan District, Zigong City, connects with G4215 Chengdu Zigong Luzhou Expressway, passes through Da'an District, Fushun County, Longchang City, Neijiang, and ends near Fangdong Town, Luxian County, Luzhou City, connecting with the planned section of Zigong Yongchuan Expressway from Sichuan Chongqing boundary to Rongchang. The total length of the route is about 57.1km, and the estimated total investment is about 12.292 billion yuan.

The main line of the project is constructed according to the standard of two-way six lane expressway, with a design speed of 100km/h, a subgrade width of 34m, and a design vehicle load of highway I for bridges and culverts; Asphalt concrete pavement is adopted for the whole line. Other technical indicators comply with the relevant provisions of the Technical Standard for Highway Engineering (JTGB01-2014) issued by the Ministry of Transport.
