On Oct 20, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of Aerospace Lithium Power 50GWh lithium iron phosphate cylindrical cell Industrial Park project was held in Xintai, Tai 'an, Shandong province.

It is understood that the 50Gwh lithium iron phosphate cylindrical battery Industrial Park project is invested and constructed by Aerospace Lithium Electric Technology (Jiangsu) Co., LTD., with a total planning area of about 3000 mu and a total planned investment of 30 billion yuan.

The project covers an area of 502.68 mu and plans to invest 3 billion yuan to build a 5GWh lithium iron phosphate cell production line with a planned construction area of about 250,000 square meters and 10 new production lines. The main products are self-developed 38910 and 46800 new power batteries. After completion of the project, the estimated annual output value is about 5 billion yuan.

Zhao Yongbin, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor, said that the aerospace lithium 50Gwh lithium iron phosphate cylindrical battery industrial Park project has a large investment scale, high scientific and technological content, a wide range of applications, and good market prospects. It is the traction, key and landmark project of new energy and equipment industrial chain construction in Xintai City. The construction of this project is another significant achievement of Xintai City's in-depth implementation of the strategy of economic construction as the center, industry as the core and project as the center.
