It is reported that the Shenhai Expressway Huocun to Longshan section of the reconstruction and expansion project adopts the technical standards of the expressway, in which the old road Muqiang tunnel to Tianluyuan tunnel K2996+202-K2998+817 fully uses the existing tunnel to maintain the design speed of 80 km/h, the rest of the road adopts the design speed of 100 km/h. The starting point from Huocun Interchange to Badou interchange is 12 lanes in both directions, and the width of the new separated roadbed is 2×16.75 meters on both sides of the existing highway. From Bidou Interchange to Longshan Interchange, 10 lanes are used in both directions with a roadbed width of 50 meters. The vehicle load grade for the whole line of bridge and culvert design shall be highway-I, and other technical indicators shall comply with the relevant provisions of "Highway Engineering and Technical Standards". The total investment is estimated to be 15.771 billion yuan.

The project has set up a total of 17201 meters /58 Bridges, including 8178 meters /3 extra large Bridges, 7875 meters /16 Bridges, 750 meters /2 short tunnels; There are 12 interchanges, including 11 overpasses in Huocun Junction, Xiangxue Junction, Luogang Junction, Changping Junction, Badou Junction, Taihe Junction, Shihu Junction, Beicun Junction, Benhu Junction, Shuili Junction and Longshan Junction, and 1 new overpass in Maofeng Mountain; Set one service area and one management center.
