When it comes to infrastructure construction in Indonesia, one project has to be mentioned, that is, the Yahwan high-speed railway. In January 2016, the project officially started, and almost every talk or phone call since then, the two heads of state have talked about Yahwan high-speed railway. After the project is completed and opened, it will connect Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the fourth largest city. The travel time between the two cities will be shortened from more than 3 hours to 40 minutes.

Zoco: I have inspected the construction of Ya'an Wanzhou high-speed railway three times. This is the flagship project of cooperation between Indonesia and China in infrastructure construction. I am optimistic that this project will be completed soon and put into operation by the middle of 2023, that is, by the middle of 2023. This will promote the connection between Bandung and Jakarta, and will also accelerate the movement of people and goods.

Zoko: I think the more cooperation between Indonesia and China, the more beneficial to both countries - including the construction of seaports, airports and highways.
