Recently, Jingneng Power decided to invest with Ulanqab Energy Investment and Development Co., Ltd. in the construction of a 1.5 million kilowatt wind power green power project in Daihai, Ulanqab City, through the established project company Inner Mongolia Jingneng Daihai New Energy Co., Ltd. at the shareholding ratio of 51% and 49%. The total investment of Daihai New Energy Project is about 9.17 billion yuan, with the capital fund accounting for 20% of the total investment, namely 1.83 billion yuan.

The Daihai 1.5 million kilowatt base project is located in Liangcheng County, Ulanqab City. The planned area of the site is 1028 square kilometers. The area is mainly forest land and grassland. It does not occupy permanent basic farmland, does not involve ecological protection red line and other prohibited development areas. The Daihai 1.5 million kilowatt base project will share a transmission line with Inner Mongolia Daihai Power Generation Co., Ltd. Relying on the deep peak shaving capacity of the four units of Daihai Power Plant with a total installed capacity of 2580MW, the existing point to network "Daihai Wanquan Shunyi" transmission channel is used to send the power to Beijing Tianjin Hebei region for consumption.
