Chinese road construction machinery producers Shandong Lingong, Xugong Group, Zoomlion, Sany Group and Shandong Group are becoming major suppliers in the Russian market.

Avtodor Leasing will guarantee supplies of the road construction machinery for three to six months.

In October 2022, Russia's state road company Avtodor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a Chinese company on the supply of road construction machinery. Previously, European companies supplied 80 per cent of the Russian market. In the first quarter of 2022, medium-sized excavators already supplied by China to Russia accounted for 70 percent of the excavator market in this segment, while small excavators accounted for 33 percent.

Compared with the high-priced European and American products, the construction machinery products made in China have mature technology, high quality and low price, and are very competitive in the Russian market. They are favored by construction operators of key infrastructure projects such as construction, energy, environment and transportation engineering. With the increase of infrastructure construction projects brought by the rapid economic development of Russia, the demand for construction machinery and equipment in Russia will continue to increase in the future.
