The Ushton Solar Thermal+Photovoltaic Integration Project in Tokson County will be included in the second batch of market-oriented grid connected new energy projects in the autonomous region in 2022. The project will mainly build a new 900 MW photovoltaic+100 MW thermal storage solar thermal power generation project with an 8-hour thermal storage duration and supporting transmission project. The total investment of the project is 5.71 billion yuan. It is planned to complete the 900 MW photovoltaic construction by the end of 2022 and the 100 MW solar thermal construction by the end of July 2024.
Ran Hong, the person in charge of the Uston Solar Thermal+Photovoltaic Integration Project in Tokson County, introduced that the project does not need to consume other conventional energy, generate pollutants in air, liquid, solid waste, etc., or generate large noise pollution in the entire construction process; At the same time, during the operation of the power station, no other conventional energy is required, no harmful gas is discharged and no water resources are consumed, so the ecological benefits are obvious. After the project is completed, it can provide 1.8 billion kilowatt hours of clean electricity on the grid every year during the operation period.
Compared with coal-fired power plants, 836600 tons of raw coal can be saved every year based on the standard coal consumption for power supply. Accordingly, the emissions of various air pollutants can be reduced every year, the consumption of fossil resources can be reduced, the coordinated development of economy and environment can be achieved, and the project has significant energy conservation and environmental protection benefits.
