At the Expo in Shanghai, PIPECHINA signed strategic cooperation agreements with Shell, ExxonMobil and other international energy enterprises to provide services such as window use of LNG terminals, tank leasing, and international transfer of bonded tanks. This is the first time that China has opened its oil and gas pipeline infrastructure to international energy enterprises through the national level exposition.
At present, the mileage of China's main oil and gas pipelines managed and operated by PIPECHINA, such as West East Gas Transmission, Shaanxi Beijing Gas Transmission and Sichuan East Gas Transmission, has reached 98000 kilometers. It has managed and operated seven LNG terminals, with an annual unloading capacity of more than 30 million tons, making it the largest enterprise operating terminals in China.
Li Tian, General Manager of PIPECHINA Marketing Department: We use the platform of the Expo to introduce foreign shippers into the industrial chain system, and provide LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal window period and other services in the principle of fair, open and undifferentiated access, so as to strengthen upstream supply entities and channels and better ensure national energy security.Editor/Ma Xue
