On November 7, 2022, a signing ceremony was held for Fangxian County's 10GWh annual power battery project. It is reported that the total investment of the project is 5 billion yuan. It is planned to produce 10GWh power lithium battery annually. The project will be constructed in three phases: 2GWh in the first phase, 3GWh in the second phase and 5GWh in the third phase. Among them, the first phase of the project is planned to start construction in December 2022, and be completed and put into operation by the end of 2023. The annual output value can reach 5 billion yuan after all the projects are put into operation. At the ceremony, the deputy county head, Cao Hang, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Henan Lithium Power Battery Co., Ltd. on behalf of Fang County People's Government.
