We have received the documents concerning the Approval of the Preliminary Design of Yulong (Xionggu) to Weixi Expressway from Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Transport Bureau of Lijiang City and the Preliminary Design of Yulong (Xionggu) to Weixi Expressway at Two Stages. The construction scale, technical standards and estimated investment determined in accordance with the Reply to the Feasibility Study Report of Yulong (Xionggu) to Weixi Expressway Project of Yunnan Development and Reform Commission are hereby approved after examination.
Construction scale and technical standards
Yulong (Xionggu) to Weixi Expressway starts from Baihanchang, Jiuhe Town, Yulong County, Lijiang City. Baihanchang Junction Interchange will connect with Xiangli Expressway and end at Yongchun Town, Weixi County, Deqen City. It will connect with the proposed Weixi to Yezhi Expressway, with a total length of 115.369 km (including 105.37 km in Yulong County, Lijiang City and 9.999 km in Weixi County, Deqen City).

There are 8 interchanges: Baihanchang (Hub), Shitou, Shigu, Sixing, Jinjiang, Liming, Judian and Ludian.
Synchronous construction of 6 interconnecting lines 22.806 kilometers. Among them, 4.842 kilometers of Seok, 3.198 kilometers of Siheung, 3.325 kilometers of Jinjiang, 4.9 kilometers of Liming, 2.786 kilometers of Judian, and 3.755 kilometers of Ludian.
The main line adopts the standard construction of two-way four-lane expressway, the design speed is 80 km/h, the width of the roadbed is 25.5 meters, and the design vehicle load grade of the bridge and culvert is highway-ⅰ class. Other technical specifications shall be implemented in accordance with Highway Engineering Technical Standards (JTG B01-2014). Shitou and Sixing interconnecting line adopts the three-level highway standard construction, the design speed is 30 km/h, the width of the roadbed is 8.5 meters; The Jinjiang, Liming, Judian and Ludian interconnecting lines are constructed by the standard of secondary highways, with a design speed of 40km/h and a width of 10m roadbed.
