Ali Zahiri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to China: In the report to the Twentieth National Congress of China, it was pointed out that China will accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, closely focus on promoting high-quality development, and ultimately achieve Chinese path to modernization. In order to achieve this goal, he emphasized that education, science and technology, and talents are the basic and strategic support for building a socialist modern country in an all-round way. These concepts are also the core values cherished by the UAE.

Ali Zahiri: At present, China is the largest trading partner of the United Arab Emirates, and the United Arab Emirates is China's largest non oil trading partner in the Middle East and North Africa. From 2012 to 2021, the non oil trade volume of the two countries will increase by about 79%. In 2021, the volume of non oil trade between the two countries will exceed 60 billion US dollars. The two sides promise to continue to deepen economic and trade cooperation and strive to reach the target of 200 billion US dollars in trade by 2030.
