According to Jiandao network learned, in order to accelerate the realization of the carbon emission reduction target, on November 14, 2022, China Power Tendering network announced the EPC general contract tender of Ruoqiang Power Construction Ruida New Energy Co., LTD., 100,000 kW photovoltaic thermal (energy storage) 900,000 kw photovoltaic demonstration project in Ruoqiang County.

The 900MW photovoltaic power station of this project adopts the scheme of block power generation and centralized grid-connection. 2,045628 pieces of 550Wp mono-crystalline silicon double-sided photovoltaic modules are designed and installed in the photovoltaic power station, with an installed capacity of 1125.0954MWp. The PV power station contains 282 PV arrays, each of which is connected in parallel with 279 PV arrays. Each PV series is composed of 550Wp double-sided double-glass module + fixed bracket +320kW series inverter +3200kVA box transformer form. Each PV group is connected in series with 26 550Wp mono crystalline silicon double-sided modules, including 7254 PV modules, 10 320kW inverters and 1 3200kVA box converter, with an installed capacity of 3.9897MWp. Two 220kV photovoltaic collecting stations will be built in the photovoltaic field.

The project site is located in Ruoqiang County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, 190km southeast of Ruoqiang County. The project covers a total area of 28216.56 mu. The site is 90°05 '23 "~ 90°09' 08" east longitude and 38°07 '43 "~ 38°11' 18" north latitude. The site does not involve the encroachment of forest land, overburden mineral resources and other restrictive factors are state-owned unused land.
