Recently, the construction of the E section of EPC general contract project of the 3 million kW Zhongwei photovoltaic Composite Project (Phase I) of the "Ningxiang DC" supporting new energy base of National Energy Group, the largest desert photovoltaic base in China undertaken by CNNC Huaxing, has officially started. This project is CNNC Huaxing's second deep participation in the construction of the national large-scale scenic base after the Urumqi Wind Power Base project in Northern Xinjiang.
According to reports, the project is located in the southeast of the Tenggali Desert, Shapotou District, Zhongwei City, Ningxia. It is the key supporting project of the "Ning-power to Hunan" project, the country's first UHV power transmission channel to develop a large desert photovoltaic base and transport new energy. The installed capacity of the E section is 200MW, which is scheduled to be complted and put into operation on December 30, 2022.
In recent years, CNNC Huaxing has been actively helping to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, and practicing the customer-centered business philosophy. It has fought against wind and snow and heat in the Gobi desert and the border of the motherland, and successfully completed various construction tasks, which has laid a solid foundation for the continuous expansion of the energy and power market, the continuous accumulation of customers and the continuous improvement of industry influence.
CNNC Huaxing New Energy Construction Iron Army steps into the vast desert with vigorous pace, will start a new journey of new energy construction with hard work and sweat, cast a new monument of green development, and contribute Huaxing strength to the successful completion of the national energy base construction task.
