On the morning of November 5, 2022, the construction of infrastructure and supporting facilities of Nansan Park Agricultural Products Import and Export Processing Industrial Park, a key project of Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone, a national border economic cooperation zone, an important hub of the China-Myanmar International Corridor, officially began.

As the frontier of development and opening-up along the border, Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone is an important node in the construction of the new China-Myanmar Indian Ocean Passage. It has a unique geographical advantage of opening to South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean Rim. It is known as the "Southern Silk Road" and the "Ancient Silk and Tea Road in the Southwest", and an important gateway to Myanmar, Indo-China Peninsula and the Indian Ocean surrounding countries. There is no substitute for location advantage.

The project of infrastructure and supporting facilities construction of Agricultural products Import and Export Processing Industrial Park in Nansan Park, Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone, Yunnan Province, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan, covers an area of 612.9 mu and a building area of 113,400 square meters, including standard factories and storage rooms for processing agricultural products such as walnuts, nuts and tea. And set up water supply network, reservoir and synchronous improvement of the park green environment, power supply, communication and other infrastructure.

The project is close to Nansan Port, an important passageway along the border of Yunnan Province, which is convenient for time, geography and people. After completion, it will greatly improve the position of Yunnan as a "bridge" connecting the three markets of South Asia, Southeast Asia and China's inland hinterland.

Since the entrance, the project department has implemented the project schedule node target of the owner unit and completed the site selection and standardized construction of the project in only 19 days, which has created a good prerequisite for the construction and production.

In order to get ready for the start of construction, the project department effectively promoted the field investigation, drawing review, construction plan approval and other work. For the major and difficult projects, several technical research meetings were held to optimize the construction plan. Before construction, carry out technical and safety disclosure of pile foundation construction by field technicians and labor team personnel to ensure the orderly progress of pile foundation construction.

The project is located in the border area of China and Myanmar, facing the risk of overseas importation, and the epidemic prevention and control requirements are extremely high. The project department actively establishes a joint prevention and control mechanism with the government's epidemic prevention department, implements closed-loop management preventive measures on the construction site, and strictly implements various management regulations on epidemic prevention and control, so as to ensure both epidemic prevention and control and construction and production.

In the next step, the project department of the company will actively integrate into and serve the construction of the Belt and Road, the Radiation Center and the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor. With the courage to take responsibility and be good at doing things, the company will accelerate the construction of the Nansan Park project of Lincang Border Economic Cooperation Zone, and make ten contributions to the construction of the beautiful park and the opening up and development of Yunnan border area.
