On November 15, 2022, the Shanxi Provincial Government Procurement Network released the announcement on the results of the successful procurement of social capital for the PPP project of ecological restoration of the riverway in the central city of Jincheng and the utilization of sewage as a resource. The consortium led by the Shanxi Low Carbon Environmental Protection Industry Group won the bid, with a total investment of 2.41 billion yuan.

Project construction content

The PPP project for the ecological restoration of the riverway in the central urban area of Jincheng City and the utilization of sewage resources includes six subprojects, namely, the upstream riverway treatment and clean water reuse project of the East River, the upstream supporting road project of the East River, the water system construction in the main urban area and the comprehensive treatment of black and odorous water bodies, the Longwan Park reconstruction and upgrading project, the ecological restoration of the main urban area and the landscape improvement project along the line, and the Baishui River artificial ecological wetland and the reuse project of reclaimed water resources. The project content includes procurement, construction, completion acceptance, operation, maintenance, handover and supporting progress, quality, investment supervision and project financing within the scope of the project.
