On the morning of November 21, 2022, a mobilization meeting was held in Nanchang to start construction of the Chang-Jiu high-speed Railway, Rui-Mei Railway and Chang-Jiangxi high-speed Railway. According to the introduction, Chang-Jiu high-speed railway, Rui-Mei Railway and Chang-Jiangxi high-speed railway are major railway projects planned and constructed in Jiangxi Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The total length of the three projects is 804.2 kilometers, with a total investment of 136.24 billion yuan, among which the total length of 597.2 kilometers (432 kilometers of high-speed railway) in the province, with a total investment of 98.72 billion yuan. The construction of these three railway projects can actively expand effective investment and provide strong support for the decisive battle in the fourth quarter and win the whole year.

At present, all lines of Chang-Jiu high-speed railway have entered the construction site, the Rui-Mei Railway will be fully started before the end of the month, and the Chang-Jiangxi high-speed railway has been approved for feasibility study, and the preliminary design review is being carried out, meeting the conditions for the pilot project to start. After the completion of the three projects and the opening of the Changjing-Huang-Huang-Jiangxi high-speed railway next year, the total length of railways in operation in Jiangxi Province will exceed 6,000 km, including 2,718 km of high-speed railways, which will further enhance Jiangxi's position in China's railway network and provide more powerful support for promoting Jiangxi's high-quality leap-forward development.

Chang-jiu high-speed railway

Chang-jiu high-speed Railway is an important part of Beijing-Hong Kong-Taiwan Corridor, one of the national eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway main passages. It is a key section to open up the North-South high-speed railway with a speed of 350 km per hour in Jiangxi Province, and plays a significant and significant role in strengthening the closer connection between Jiangxi Province and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a total length of 134.4 kilometers, the project, with a total investment of 33.95 billion yuan, is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in March 2027.

The Chang-Jiu high-speed railway passes through 11 counties (urban areas) in Jiujiang Lianxi District, Chaisang District, Lushan City, Gongqing City, Yongxiu County, Xinjian District, Jingkai District, Donghu District, Nanchang County, High-tech Zone and Qingshanhu District, along which there are five stations (Lushan (existing), Lushan (south), Gongqingcheng East, Changbei Airport and Nanchang (existing) East.

Raymay Railway

Rui-mei Railway is an important infrastructure project defined in the "Several Opinions of The State Council on Supporting the Revitalization and Development of the former Central Soviet Areas such as Southern Jiangxi". It is also a poverty alleviation and prosperity road that people in the old areas of southern Jiangxi have been looking forward to for many years. It plays an important and practical role in filling the gap in the railway network of Jiangxi Province, driving the economic and social development of the regions along the line, and consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation. With a design speed of 160 km per hour and a total length of 240.3 km, the project has a total investment of 17.67 billion yuan, of which 165.2 km in Jiangxi Province and a total investment of 11.15 billion yuan. It is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in June 2027.

Jiangxi section of Rui-Mei Railway passes through four counties (urban areas), namely Ruijin City, Huichang County, Anyuan County and Xuanwu County, Ganzhou City. There are five stations along the railway, namely Ruijin (existing), Huichang County, Tianxin County, Anyuan County and Xunwu County.

Changchang-jiangxi high-speed Railway

Changchang-jiangxi high-speed Railway is an important part of Yuchang-Xiamen Channel, one of the eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway channels in the country. It has practical significance and obvious role for Jiangxi Province to better integrate into the national strategies such as the Belt and Road and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, further improve the layout of regional road network, and support the revitalization and development of the former central Soviet areas such as southern Jiangxi. The project has a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a total length of 429.5 kilometers, with a total investment of 84.62 billion yuan, including 297.6 kilometers in Jiangxi Province and a total investment of 53.62 billion yuan. It is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in the first half of 2028.

Jiangxi section of Chang-Jiangxi high-speed railway passes through Pingxiang City Shangli County, Xiangdong District, Anyuan District, Luxi County, Lianhua County, Jingkai District, Ji 'an City Yongxin County, Jinggangshan City, Suichuan County, Ganzhou City Nankang District, Ganxian district, Jingkai District, Zhanggong District 13 counties (urban areas), along the line with 8 stations such as Shangli, Pingxiang North, Luxi South, Lianhua East, Yongxin South, Jinggangshan East, Suichuan, north Ganzhou.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Jiangxi Province has achieved rapid development and remarkable achievements in railway construction. A large number of railway projects such as Shanghai-Kunming, Hefu, Wujiu, Chang-gan, Gan-Shen and An-Jiu have been completed and opened to traffic successively. By the end of 2021, the total length of railway operation has reached 5,219 kilometers, among which 2,086 kilometers of high-speed railway ranks 7th in China, basically building a railway network framework of five vertical and five horizontal lines. It has realized a high-speed rail traffic circle that takes 1 to 2 hours from Nanchang to the district-divided cities and their surrounding provincial capitals, 3 to 4 hours from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other domestic developed cities, and 5 to 6 hours from the capital Beijing.
