The Guanghanping Pumped Storage Power Station project of Hunan Youxian County has been listed in the National Medium - and Long-Term Development Program for Pumped Storage (2021-2035) and is a key energy construction project in the 14th Five-Year Plan of the nation. It has a designed installed capacity of 1.8 million kilowatts and a designed annual generating capacity of 2.5 billion kilowatt-hours. After its completion and commissioning, it will generate about 150 million yuan of tax every year. To further optimize the power supply structure of the system, improve the utilization rate of clean energy and the capacity of power transmission outside the district, and provide a strong guarantee for the safe operation of the power grid in Hunan Province.
