CGN Yantai 400MW offshore photovoltaic project was launched

In order to achieve the carbon reduction target, the installed photovoltaic energy in all regions has made great strides. The launch event of CGN Yantai Zhaoyuan 400MW offshore Photovoltaic project was held on November 19, 2022. Wang Yanbo, Secretary of Zhaoyuan Municipal Party Committee, Liu Chao, Deputy Secretary of Zhaoyuan Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, Jiang Tonghai, Secretary of General Party Branch of CGN New Energy Shandong Branch and Deputy General Manager (presiding over the work) attended the event. Sui Xianjie, Deputy General manager of CGN New Energy Shandong Branch and general manager of Shandong Yantai Offshore New Energy Project Base Company, presided over the event.

CGN Yantai Zhaoyuan 400MW offshore photovoltaic project is located in Laizhou Bay in the north of Zhaoyuan City. It is the first offshore photovoltaic project with fixed pile foundation in China and the only non-consortium project in Shandong Province. It is planned to be connected to the grid with full capacity in December 2023. The successful launch of this project reflects the high recognition of CGN New Energy's investment capability in Shandong Province by Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Shandong Provincial Energy Bureau.
