Hebei Lingshou Pumped storage Power Station and Hebei Xingtai Pumped Storage Power Station are invested by Huayu Power Co., LTD., and designed by PowerChina Beijing Survey and Design Institute Co., LTD. They are national key implementation projects of the 14th Five-Year Plan, with a total installed capacity of 2600MW, among which Hebei Lingshou pumped storage Power Station is 1400MW and Xingtai pumped Storage Power Station is 1200MW. Hebei Lingshou pumping and storage power station

Hebei Lingshou Pumped Storage Power Station is located near Chenzhuang Town, Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, about 40km away from Lingshou County, about 70km away from Shijiazhuang City.

Hebei Lingshou pumped storage power station has a single unit of 350MW, a total installed capacity of 1400MW and a rated water head of 601m. The reservoir capacity below the normal water level of Qiyougou Upper reservoir is 6.31 million m3, and that below the normal water level of Shaling Lower reservoir is 10.92 million m3. The upper reservoir adopts the whole reservoir of asphalt concrete simple type panel seepage prevention, rockfill dam top elevation of 1004m, dam top width of 10m, the main dam top length of 714m, the maximum dam height at the dam axis of 116m. The lower reservoir adopts concrete face rockfill dam, the top elevation is 381m, the axis length of the top is 734.85m, the maximum height of the dam at the axis is 65m, and the width of the top is 10m.

Hebei Xingtai Pumping and storage Power Station

The Hebei Xingtai Pumped Storage Power Station project is located in Jiangjuntomb Town and Shizhui Town, Xindu District, Xingtai City, about 40km away from Xingtai City and 110km away from Shijiazhuang City.

According to reports, the Xingtai pumped storage power station in Hebei has a single capacity of 300MW, a total installed capacity of 1200MW, and a rated water head of 311 meters. The lower reservoir of the power station is located at the turn of Hengling Village, the main stream of Shahe River, and the dam site controls an area of 554km2. In the lower reservoir project area, a sand bar is built to form a sand reservoir and a special lower reservoir. The normal water level of the special lower reservoir is 334m, and the dead water level is 312m. The highest water level of Lanshaku in August was 322m.
