On the morning of November 20, 2022, the signing ceremony for the economic and trade cooperation project of the 6th China South Asia Expo and the 26th China Kunming Import and Export Commodity Fair was held in Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center. Mangshi successfully signed a project to attract investment, with a total investment of about 7 billion yuan. Mang City has excellent ecological environment, unique geographical location, and broad space and congenital advantages in the development of clean energy industry. The Mangshi Pumped Storage Power Station Project signed with Xinjiang Xinhua Hydropower Investment Co., Ltd. is a powerful driver for Mangshi to firmly promote the development of clean energy during the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan", strengthen the integration of regional resources, energy and industry, and promote the adjustment of the energy structure of Mangshi. The project relies on the Longjiang Hydropower Station Reservoir to invest in the construction of Mangshi Pumped Storage Power Station, to build a new power system with new energy as the main body and a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system. After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected that the annual power generation will be 3.6 billion kWh, and the output value will be 1.21 billion yuan.

It is reported that the investment sources of the signed projects of this year's South China Expo are mainly concentrated in key regions such as Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area, Yangtze River Delta, Chengdu and Chongqing. In addition, there are foreign investment projects from Malaysia, Hong Kong and other countries and regions.
