On November 22, 2022, the 2022 China Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the World Top 500 Dialogue in Hubei opened in Wuhan. On the same day, six key energy cooperation projects were signed on the spot at the China Hubei Europe Energy Industry Development Matchmaking Conference, with a total amount of 20.7 billion yuan.

The contracted projects are: Huangshi 150 MW power generation roof distributed photovoltaic project, Jingmen recycling new generation high nickel ternary precursor project, Xianning optical storage integration project, Suizhou China Resources Power Suixian chemical energy storage project, Enshi Prefecture Lichuan Jiannan pumped storage power station project, and Tianmen City medium energy saving wind power equipment industrial park production project.

These projects are new energy related projects, which will bring significant economic and ecological benefits to the local area. The total investment of the Jiannan Pumped Storage Power Station Project in Lichuan City is about 10.1 billion yuan. The initial planned installed capacity is 1600 MW, and the annual average power generation is about 1.6 billion kWh. Huangshi 150 MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project uses the existing and new party and government organs, schools, hospitals, industrial and commercial plants, residential roofs and other investments to build a distributed photovoltaic power generation project with an installed capacity of 75 MW. After completion, 24000 tons of standard coal can be saved annually. Jingmen Recycling New Generation High Nickel Ternary Precursor Project will build new energy vehicle chassis construction project, new energy special vehicle project and new energy pickup vehicle project, including full process production workshop stamping, welding, painting, final assembly workshop, long and short test track, complex building, R&D and trial production test center and other supporting facilities.
