On November 25, 2022, the candidate bid evaluation results for the construction of upper reservoir and lower reservoir of Lushan Pumped Storage Power Station in Henan Province have been released, and Sinohydro Bureau 12 and Sinohydro Bureau 5 respectively won the bid, with a dynamic investment of 8.958 billion yuan.

Henan Lushan Pumped Storage Power Station is located in Sikeshu Township and Zhaocun Town, southwest of Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province × 325MW single stage vertical shaft single speed mixed flow reversible pump turbine, with a static investment of 7.364 billion yuan and a dynamic investment of 8.958 billion yuan. The power station is about 51km away from Lushan County, 157km from Zhengzhou and 109km from Luoyang, respectively. The location is superior. This project is a first class large (I) project. Main buildings include upper reservoir, water conveyance system, powerhouse system and lower reservoir. It is planned to formally start the main works of the power station by the end of 2022, put one unit into operation by the end of 2027, and put the remaining three units into operation by the end of 2028.

Upper reservoir project

Upper reservoir project: concrete face rockfill dam, excavated reservoir bank, no water release structure. Limited by terrain conditions, the reservoir basin is composed of excavated reservoir bank and dam to meet the requirements of upper reservoir.

Water inlet/outlet works of the upper reservoir: earthwork open excavation, tunnel excavation, support, concrete pouring, grouting drilling and grouting, masonry construction, etc; Water inlet/outlet hoist room and power distribution room, site leveling, concrete pouring, masonry, building decoration, lighting pipeline installation, pipe embedment, etc.

Other works: construction, operation and maintenance of construction roads, upper reservoir sand and gravel aggregates, and concrete systems; Grounding, embedded parts and pipe laying works; Cooperation of permanent safety monitoring; Cooperation of digital intelligent power station construction management system; Purchase of equipment such as dam intelligent rolling system and intelligent bedrock grouting system and application of relevant digital intelligent technology; Cooperate with special acceptance.

The construction water supply includes: submersible water intake pump station, domestic water plant with an elevation of 310m, clean water tank of water plant with an elevation of 310m, production water tank with an elevation of 470m, booster pump station with an elevation of 470m, production water tank with an elevation of 780m, booster pump station with an elevation of 780m, regulating water tank with an elevation of 1020m, domestic water plant with an elevation of 1020m, clean water tank of water plant with an elevation of 1020m, pipelines between structures and between structures and users, as well as supporting valves and pipe fittings. The above engineering projects include all civil engineering construction, procurement and installation of materials and equipment, trial operation of water supply system and operation, management and maintenance during operation.

Road around the upper reservoir: chainage K0+000 ~ K2+450.000, connecting from the right dam head of the upper reservoir dam, starting at an elevation of 951.50m, ending at the upper reservoir construction camp near the left dam head of the upper reservoir dam, ending at an elevation of 960.00m, and the road mileage is about 2.45km. It is a permanent road with a design speed of 20km/h, two-way two lane road, 8.0m subgrade, 7.0m pavement and cement concrete pavement structure.

Lower reservoir project

Lower reservoir dam, including dam excavation and support, foundation treatment, dam concrete pouring, reservoir bank protection and seepage prevention; Excavation and support of reservoir basin.

Water inlet/outlet works of lower reservoir: including excavation and support of water inlet/outlet of lower reservoir, foundation treatment, concrete pouring, gate shaft civil engineering, etc.

Road works: including the design, construction, maintenance and management of ① - 4 roads (roads to the lower foundation pit (overhaul) of the lower reservoir), ③ - 1 roads (roads to the trash rack overhaul platform at the inlet and outlet of the lower reservoir), and ③ - 2 roads (roads to the gate shaft platform at the inlet and outlet of the lower reservoir).

Other works: construction, operation and maintenance of concrete system of lower reservoir; Grounding, embedded parts and pipe laying works; Cooperation of permanent safety monitoring; Cooperation of digital intelligent power station construction management system; Purchase of equipment such as dam intelligent rolling system and intelligent bedrock grouting system and application of relevant digital intelligent technology; Cooperate with special acceptance.

Lower reservoir ring reservoir road project:The chainage of Huanku Road of the lower reservoir is K0+000 ~ K1+977.033, which is connected from the vicinity of the ventilation and safety tunnel portal. The starting point elevation is 400.00m, the ending point is the right dam head of the lower reservoir, the ending point elevation is 393.00m, and the road mileage is about 1.977km. It is a permanent road with a design speed of 20km/h, two-way two lane road, 8.0m subgrade, 7.0m pavement and cement concrete pavement structure. The main work contents include: subgrade earthwork excavation, filling, slope treatment, side ditch, intercepting ditch and cable ditch masonry, pavement concrete pouring, retaining wall, culvert, tunnel, safety protection and lighting facilities, corresponding temporary facilities and work, etc.
