On November 25, 2022, Jiangxi Public Resources Trading Platform released the announcement of the bid winning candidates for the construction lump sum contract bidding of RMJX-1~RMJX-4 Bid Section of Jiangxi Section of the New Ruijin Meizhou Railway. The project is divided into four bid sections. Five units, including China Railway Fifth Bureau and China Railway 25th Bureau, won the bid. The total bid price is about 6.8 billion yuan.

Project overview

Ruili Meishan Railway is located in the south of Jiangxi Province and the northeast of Guangdong Province. The Jiangxi section is located in Ganzhou City, starting from Ruijin City, leading out from Ruijin Station of Ganlong Capacity Expansion and Reconstruction Project, passing Huichang County and Anyuan County to Xunwu County, and then crossing the boundary between Jiangxi and Guangdong to Guangdong Province.

The total length of Jiangxi section is 165.231km, with 82 bridges of 31759 linear meters and 49.5 tunnels of 90230 linear meters, accounting for 73.83%; 12 stations; Electrification transformation shall be carried out for station tracks 12, 14 and 16 of Ruijin Station and relevant throat routes. 2 new traction substations, 231 kilometers of catenary; Production and living houses are 53526 square meters.

Section RMJX-2: mileage: DK30+620 ～ DK81+560; Length of main line: 50.723km; Main works: all pre station works within the scope of this bid section. Control works: Xiangshui River Bridge and Jingshan Tunnel.

Section RMJX-3: mileage: DK81+560 ～ DK129+630; Length of main line: 45.803km; Main works: all pre station works within the scope of this bid section. Control works: Pianshan'an Tunnel, Laohaocun Tunnel, Jing'an Mountain Tunnel and Sanshan Tunnel

Section RMJX-4: mileage: DK129+630 ～ DK167+198; Length of main line: 37.685km; Main works: all pre station works, station buildings, production and living houses and related works of the whole line, DK81+560 ～ DK167+198 four electricity and related works within the scope of this bid section.
