On November 25, 2022, the bidding announcement for construction of bid sections SGCX03, SGCX04, SGCX05 and SGCX06 of Ningbo Cixi City Railway Project will be released. The scope of this bidding is part of the bid section of Ningbo Cixi City Railway Cixi City, of which the civil engineering of Xincheng Avenue Station was officially started in August this year. The total project duration is 4 years.

Project overview

The Ningbo Cixi City Railway starts from Kongpu Station and transfers to Kongpu Station of Ningbo Rail Transit Line 2, then passes through Jiulong Avenue, Jiulong Lake Town, Zhenhai District, passes through Wangjiashan Mountain, arrives at Longshan New City, then continues to the north, passes through Zhangqi and Guanhaiwei, enters Cixi urban area and runs along the North Third Ring Road, then turns north, passes through Kandun Town, and leads to Cixi High Speed Railway Station, the terminal of the line, to transfer with Tongsu Jiayong High Speed Railway Station. The north end of Cixi High speed Railway Station is reserved for extension to Qianwan New Area; In addition, conditions for crossing the city are reserved to the south of Kongpu Station in the long term.

The total length of the line is about 63.37km, including 45.8km of bridges; The subgrade is 0.11km long; The underground line is about 16.04km, and the mountain tunnel section is 1.42km; The proportion of underground line is 25.31%; There are 13 stations with an average distance of 5.275km, including 6 underground stations and 7 elevated stations; One Longshan depot is set. Two new traction substations will be built, namely Cixi traction substation and Longshan traction substation.

Construction scale

SGCX03 bid section: this section starts from the shield working shaft in front of University Town Station and ends at Guanfu Station. The total length of the line in this section is 9.165km, including 0.362km of open cut and buried section, 0.245km of U-shaped groove section and 8.458km of bridge section. One elevated station - University Town Station is set in the bid section.

SGCX04 bid section: this section starts from Guanfu Station and ends at the south side of the node bridge crossing Shenyang Haikou Expressway. The total length of the line in this section is 8.501km, including 7.554km of bridge length and 0.719km of mine tunnel length. There are 2 elevated stations in the bid section - Guanfu Station and Guanhaiwei Station.

SGCX05 bid section: this section starts from the south side of the node bridge of Shen Hai Expressway and ends at Longshan Station, including the entrance and exit lines of Longshan vehicle base within the boundary line of the main line section. The total length of the main line in this section is 9.938km, the length of the entrance and exit section line is 0.654km, and the total length of the bridge section is 10.343km. One elevated station - Zhangqi Station is set in the bid section.

SGCX06 bid section: this section starts from Longshan Station and ends at Longshan Tunnel. The total length of the line in this section is 6.794km, including 6.698km of bridge section. There is one elevated station Longshan Station in the bid section.

Planned duration: 1441 calendar days, planned commencement date: January 21, 2023, and planned completion date: December 31, 2026.

Scope of bidding and division of bid sections

Scope of bidding: construction of civil structural works, mechanical and electrical installation and decoration works, relocation of rainwater and sewage pipes and other pipeline relocation coordination, road restoration, sound barrier and other supporting works.

SGCX03 bid section: open cut section and section bridge from Xincheng Avenue Station to University Town Station, University Town Station, and section bridge from University Town Station to Guanfu Station.

SGCX04 bid section: Guanfu Station, Guanfu Station - Guanhaiwei Station interval bridge and mountain tunnel, Guanhaiwei Station, Guanhaiwei Station - Shenhai Expressway node bridge south interval bridge.

SGCX05 bid section: the section bridge from the south side of Shenyang Haikou Expressway node bridge to Zhangqi Station, the section bridge from Zhangqi Station to Zhangqi Station, the section bridge from Zhangqi Station to Longshan Station, and the entrance and exit section line of Longshan vehicle base within the boundary line of the main line section.
