On November 28, 2022, reporters learned from the Railway Group affiliated to Shijiazhuang Stock Exchange Group that the feasibility study report of the first phase of the provincial capital's rail transit Line 4 was approved by the Hebei Development and Reform Commission, marking a breakthrough in the planning and construction of the second phase of Shijiazhuang's rail transit.

The first phase of rail traffic Line 4 starts from Yucun South Road station and ends at Dongyuan East Road station, along Huiming Road, Huifeng Road, Cangfeng Road, South Second Ring Road, Jianhua Street and Gaoying Street, with a total length of 22.43 km. All are underground lines with 19 stations. It is mainly connected with the Southwest Education and life area, the high-density residential areas between the South Second Ring Road and the South Third Ring Road, the dense residential areas along the Jianhua Street, the dense residential areas along the Gaoying Street, Wanda Plaza, Jianhua City Square business circle and other passenger flow hubs.

As a key project that has attracted much attention for a long time, the construction of the first phase of Rail Transit Line 4 will further optimize the urban spatial structure, connect the important functional areas of the city, help the old industrial areas and other key projects of urban renewal to achieve "butterfly change", refresh the people's travel "happiness index", guide the high-quality sustainable development of the city, and further enhance the comprehensive carrying capacity of the city.
