This marks that the largest invested pumped storage power station -- Hebei Longhua pumped storage Power Station, a key national planning project with a total installed capacity of 2.8 million kW, has been approved for construction in legal procedures and has entered a new stage before the project starts construction. It is reported that the project is located in Hanma ying Town, Longhua County, Chengde City. The installed capacity of the power station is 2.8 million kW, and 8 sets of vertical shaft single-stage mixed-flow reversible pump turbine with a capacity of 350 thousand kW are installed in the power station. The initial preparation period of the project is 12 months, the total construction period is 84 months, and the first power generation period is 72 months.
