On Dec 1, 2022, the construction of the section between Tianfu and Chaoyang Lake, a railway hub in Chengdu, officially began.

According to the introduction, the section of Chengdu Railway from Shuniu Tianfu to Chaoyang Lake is located in the southwest of Chengdu. The line leads from Tianfu Station of Chengdu-Zigong Railway under construction, passes through Tianfu New District of Sichuan Province, Shuangliu District of Chengdu, Xinjin District of Chengdu, Pengshan District of Meishan City, Chengdu Qionglai City and Pujiang County, and leads to Chaoyang Lake Station of Chengdu-Ya 'an Railway which has been put into operation, with a total length of 80 kilometers. The design speed is 160 kilometers per hour and the construction period is 3.5 years.

The project of Tianfu to Chaoyang Lake section of Chengdu railway hub will build Shouan Station simultaneously, and renovate and expand Xinjin South Station and Pujiang Station.

In the future, after the completion of the Tianfu to Chaoyang Lake section project of Chengdu Railway Hub, it will promote the interconnection of stations within the hub, improve the flexibility of transport within the hub, and further enhance the function of the hub. Editor/He Yuting
