On December 1, 2022, Jinan Public Resources Trading Center released the announcement on the pre qualification of social capital procurement of the PPP Project for the Road Construction Project from East Yanguodian Flyover to Dazheng Road of Jinan Industrial North Road Expressway. The project belongs to the municipal industry, and the tenderee is Jinan Urban and Rural Transportation Bureau. The total investment of the project is 10.848 billion yuan.

Project overview

Jinan Industrial North Road Expressway East Extension Project is located in Licheng District and High tech Zone. It starts from Guodian Interchange in the west and ends at the east of Dazheng Road in the east, with a total length of about 12.5 kilometers. According to the public participation information of the social stability risk analysis released earlier in the project, the width of the red line of the road is about 60 meters, and the width of the planned green line is 120 meters. The construction content includes viaducts, ground roads, overpasses, ground bridges, pedestrian overpasses, rainwater, sewage, lighting, transportation facilities, landscape greening and pipeline support. The construction period is 2 years.

The project is an important part of Jinan Expressway Network. In the east direction of Jinan, the East Extension Project of Industrial North Expressway will integrate the highway resources such as the East Ring Expressway, Dadong Huanhe Airport Road, Tianji Road, Jiaxuan Road, Chunxuan Road, Chunhui Road, Chunbo Road, Dazheng Road and other expressways, as well as the main and secondary trunk roads and branch roads of the city, connecting the north of Tangye, Guo Dong and other areas.

The construction of this project will make Jinan International Airport, Jinan East Railway Station, Dongjia Railway Freight Center and other transport hubs interconnected, which is conducive to accelerating the construction of Jinan as a "gateway+hub" open city with land and sea linkage.
