Recently, the first Luban Workshop in Central Asia, the Luban Workshop in Tajikistan, held its opening ceremony at Tianjin Vocational and Technical College of Urban Construction Management and Tajikistan University of Technology. Ji Shumin, Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan, and Nasri Dinzoda, Assistant to the President of Tajikistan for Social Development and Public Relations, jointly cut the ribbon for the opening of Luban Workshop. The construction of the Luban Workshop in Tajikistan is the first Luban Workshop built in Central Asia to implement the important consensus of the heads of state of China and Tajikistan, an important measure to implement the outcome of the Foreign Ministers' Meeting of "China+the five Central Asian countries", and a vivid practice of serving the construction of the the Belt and Road and sharing China's vocational education experience with the world.

Ji Shumin, the Chinese ambassador to Tajikistan, said in his speech that as the first Luban workshop in Central Asia, the Luban workshop in Tajikistan was built under the personal care of the two heads of state. Tajikistan Luban Workshop is the first Luban Workshop built by China in Central Asia. Its completion and operation will promote friendly cooperation between China and Tajikistan, promote the two countries to strengthen new international relations, inject new momentum and vitality into enriching and expanding people to people and cultural exchanges between the two countries, enhance mutual understanding and affinity between the two peoples, deepen practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and promote high-quality development of the the Belt and Road.

Nasri Dinzoda, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for Social Development and Public Relations, warmly congratulated the launch of the Luban Workshop in Tajikistan, comprehensively reviewed the process of high-level organizations of the two governments promoting the construction of the Luban Workshop in Tajikistan, and said that the construction of the Tajik Workshop laid a good foundation for the development of the fields of Tajik nature and engineering science, and made great contributions to the realization of the planning goals in the field of Tajik education.

Abduholizoda, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, comprehensively summarized the development of higher vocational education in Tajikistan and pointed out that the Luban Workshop in Tajikistan was established under the guidance of the national leaders and under the framework of the 20 year science and education development strategy of Tajikistan. It is the first vocational education cooperation project between China and Tajikistan and the best model of sincere cooperation between the two universities. In March 2022, Tianjin Vocational and Technical College of Urban Construction Management and Tajikistan University of Technology began to cooperate in the construction of Luban Workshop in Tajikistan. The workshop covers an area of 1138 square meters. With urban thermal energy application technology and engineering measurement technology as the cooperative specialty, it has built two teaching areas integrating theory and practice, namely, green energy training center and intelligent mapping training center. It has built an air classroom, equipped with professional bilingual teaching materials, training teaching equipment, and information based teaching resources. The workshop takes Tajik teachers who have received systematic training as the teaching subject, and conducts professional and technical skills training for Tajik youth.
