At the construction site of the Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD), more than 60 kilometers north of the city center of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, an engineering construction team from 15 countries is in full swing. What they are building is an important cooperation project between China and the United Arab Emirates to jointly promote the global fight against the COVID-19 - Abu Dhabi Vaccine Factory in the United Arab Emirates.

The project covers an area of about 250000 square meters. After completion, it will use China's original solution filling technology to produce COVID-19 vaccine. It has three filling lines and five automated packaging lines, with an annual output of 200 million doses. It can effectively alleviate the pressure of vaccine gap in the Middle East, become a vaccine production base and transportation hub in the Gulf region, and support more countries to fight against COVID-19.Editor/Ma Xue
