On this basis, Xinjiang railway authorities have actively integrated into the construction of "one port, two regions, five major centers and port Economic Belt" in Xinjiang, increased input in transport capacity, improved the customs clearance efficiency of express trains, and made great efforts to smooth the western passage of China-Europe Express trains.

The number of outbound trains has increased steadily and the number of return trains has also increased significantly, with an average of more than 35 trains passing through the two ports every day." Xinjiang railway authorities have worked closely with customs, border control and other departments to build a green channel for China-Europe freight trains. The number of freight trains has steadily increased, and the routes have been continuously tightened. Since 2022, the Alashankou Port has added 29 new freight train routes, bringing the total number to 94, reaching 18 countries and regions. The Khorgos port has added 19 new freight train routes, a total of 75, radiating to 18 countries and regions abroad.
