On December 14, 2022, the public announcement of the bid winning candidates for the construction lump sum contracting of the new Pingdingshan Luohe Zhoukou high-speed railway station front project PLZZQ-2~8 bid section was released in Henan Public Resources Trading Center. Pingluo Zhouzhou High speed Railway Project will be officially started at the end of December, with a planned construction period of 3.5 years.
Pingluo Zhouzhou Railway is an important part of the main framework of the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network, the continental bridge corridor branch line from Nanjing to Luoyang via Pingdingshan; It is an important carrier to strengthen the cooperation and interaction between the Central Plains urban agglomeration, the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration, the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration and other urban agglomerations; It is a high-speed railway line with both road network and intercity functions.

Project overview
The newly-built Pingdingshan Luohe Zhoukou High speed Railway starts from Pingdingshan West Station of Zhengzhou Wanzhou High speed Railway, enters from the south to Luohe West Station of Beijing Guangzhou High speed Railway, and ends at Zhoukou East Station of Zhengzhou Fuyang High speed Railway. The newly-built main line is about 199.7 km.
There are 6 stations in the whole line, including Pingdingshan West Station, Pingdingshan South Station, Wuyang North Station, Luohexi Station, Zhoukou West Station and Zhoukou East Station, among which Pingdingshan West Station, Luohe West Station and Zhoukou East Station are existing stations. The interconnection line between Pingdingshan West Station and Zhengwan Depot in Zhengzhou direction, and the interconnection line between Zhoukou East Station and Zhengfu High speed Railway shall be constructed simultaneously.
Railway grade: high-speed railway; Design speed: 350 km/h; Speed limit at local sections of the introduced hub (region).
The planned construction period is 42 months, the planned commencement date is December 20, 2022, and the planned completion date is May 31, 2026.

Section division and proposed bid winner
Bidding scope: pre station works of the new Pingdingshan Luohe Zhoukou high-speed railway and post station interface works to be implemented simultaneously with the pre station works.

The project scope is: the total length of the main line of this bid section is 29.460km, including 0.428km of Lushan Jinya River Bridge; Luzhan Yewu Bridge is 28.624km long; 0.408km section subgrade; Lushan Beam Yard is responsible for the fabrication, transportation and erection of DK1+801 ~ DK23+708557 span box girders.

PLZZQ-3, mileage: DK37+203.77 ~ DK62+568.53. The scope of work is: the total length of the main line of this section is 25.363km, including the front of the new Pingdingshan South Station and related works, including 0.684km of station subgrade, 0.590km of Pingdingshan South Station Grand Bridge, 0.444km of Luzhan Grand Bridge, and 23.645km of Zhanyewu Grand Bridge; Zhanhe beam yard is responsible for the fabrication, transportation and erection of DK23+708 ~ DK62+5,701,131 box girders.

PLZZQ-4, mileage: DK62+568.53 ~ DK91+559.4. The scope of work is: the total length of the main line in this section is 28.991km, including 1.492km in front of the new Wuyang North Station and related projects; 0.304km section subgrade; 6 frame bridges and culverts; Luzhan Yewu Bridge is 13.169km long; Wuluo Super Major Bridge 14.025km; Wuyang Beam Yard is responsible for the fabrication, transportation and erection of DK62+570 ~ DK91+559798 hole box girder; Wuyang track laying base is responsible for the ballastless track laying of DK0+000 ~ DK200+267.47 and the track laying, ballast laying and turnout laying of station tracks and connecting lines.

The project scope is: the total length of the main line of this section is 28.228km, of which 2.296km in front of Pingluozhou Depot of Luohe West Railway Station and related projects are entrusted to the railway administration; 6 frame bridges and culverts; Wuluo Bridge is 19.094km long; Luoshang Grand Bridge: 6.836km; Yuanhui beam yard is responsible for the fabrication, transportation and erection of DK91+540 ~ DK114+500574 box girders.

PLZZQ-6, mileage: DK120+023.77 ~ DK149+207.69. The scope of work is: the total length of the main line of this section is 29.184km, including 29.184km of Luoshang Bridge; Yancheng beam yard is responsible for the fabrication, transportation and erection of DK114+500 ~ DK142+156775 span box girders.
