Taizhou City Railway Line S2 starts from Beiyang Town, Huangyan District, passes through Linhai City, Jiaojiang District, Taizhou Bay New Area, and finally ends at Taizhou Bay New Area Fangte Park. There are 20 stations along the line, including Beiyang Station, Toutuo Station, Qianyang Station, Xinqian Station, Jiangkou Station, Inner Ring Road Station, Jiaojiang No. 8 Middle School Station, Haihong Avenue Station, Lvmai South Road Station, Binhai Cluster Area Station, UAV Town Station and Fangte Station, 12 of which are elevated stations, Huangyan Station, Juxiang Avenue Station, Taizhou Station, Taizhou College Station, Citizen Square Station, Donghuan Avenue Station and Jidong Road Station, 7 of which are underground stations, and one of which is Taizhou West Station. The total investment of the project is 30.734 billion yuan.
The construction of Taizhou City Railway Line S2 is conducive to accelerating the construction of the Yangtze River Delta on the track, building a multi-level rail transit network, promoting the connection between east and west clusters in Taizhou City, guiding the rational layout of urban space, optimizing the urban travel structure, and improving the comprehensive transportation system.
After the completion of Taizhou City Railway Line S2, transfer with Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Railway and Jintai Railway at Taizhou West Railway Station, and transfer with Hangzhou Taizhou High speed Railway and City Railway Line S1 at Taizhou Station; The Taizhou Railway Station and Taizhou West Railway Station are effectively connected in series to achieve multi network integration of integrated transport hub; We will promote the coordinated development of the three core clusters of Huangyan, Jiaojiang and Taizhou Bay New Area.
